Food ServicesOur chef prepares and serves a nutritious and delicious evening meal. In addition, we offer coffee and tea throughout the day. All meals adhere to the Canada Food Guide recommendations and VIHA standards. For residents with special dietary needs such as vegetarians, accommodations to fit your loved ones are made.
Head Chef James Clark is always finding and preparing delicious new recipes for our residents. James' specialities include braised pork loin, roast beef and lemon meringue pie. The bread and dinner rolls are made fresh daily, and each evening meal includes a yummy home made dessert. He enjoys hosting special dinners at Thanksgiving and Christmas, with a full breakfast on Christmas morning. He also hosts summer barbecues and al fresco buffets weather permitting.
Guests are welcome and may be invited for dinner with 24 hours notice to the chef. The menu is posted in advance and every Friday the entrée is a fish dish.
Not feeling well or not up for visiting? A dinner tray service is available to all residents. One of the servers will deliver a tray to your suite with the full evening meal at no additional charge.
